Great balcony, very high quality interior, awesome cocomat bed. Free, well-stocked minibar. The suite is probably the best way to stay on Syros. Helpful staff, even in case of very late check-in and early morning departure.

I was skeptical at first when picking this hotel as compared to one that was right by the beach. Lots of reviews mentioned the breakfast and hospitality which is why I ultimately decided to stay here as opposed to another hotel right on the beach -- I am so thankful I did! From the second you arrive, you are greeted with excellent hospitality. The lovely couple that owns the establishment make you feel welcome and put you in a great mood to explore the island. You basically get the hospitality of a homestay with the privacy and autonomy of a hotel. The breakfast far exceeded my expectations. I am a pastry student at LCB paris, and Giorgos' routine is nothing short of exceptional. He begins preparing the elaborate morning feast at 3:30 AM each day. Among the assortment are fresh greek pies, meats, and other Mediterranean treats as well as coffee and lovely orange juice. The breakfast combined with the service was the perfect start to each of my days on Syros. In terms of amenities: my room was cleaned daily and was secure. I actually forgot my passport and had to rush back to the hotel to grab it and was pleasantly surprised that it was safe and waiting for me when I arrived. The room itself was much bigger than I could have hoped and had a balcony with beautiful blue lighting and Cycladic stonework -- definitely my favorite part of the room. The parking is very nice as well. The hotel was beautiful in general with beautiful landscaping and tasteful decor. Lastly, location: As I mentioned before, I was skeptical about not being on the beach. When I arrived, I found that I had nothing to worry about. The nearest beach is a short (<1 min) walk from the hotel and offers free beach beds with the purchase of anything on the menu (a large beer is about 3 euros here for the price point). I rented a quad bike for my stay and found that I was about 15 minutes away from agathopes beach and 15 mins from ermoupoli. Varis is a great location!

Vanaf MXN 1.436 per nachtHet hartelijke ontvangst, het mooie ruime appartement, het uitzicht op de baai. Het heerlijke uitgebreide ontbijt, de lekkere salades en sandwiches die we in de avond gegeten hebben. Dat alles maakte ons verblijf heel erg aangenaam. Het strand van Kini is gezellig met zijn restaurantjes, Kini zelf is niet heel erg groot en er zijn niet veel winkels. Maar als je wilt shoppen kan dat in Ermoupolis. Andere leuke plekken zijn Delfini beach, Ano Syros, Plakostroto.

Very nice older hotel that is well looked after. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are small but ours had a beautiful ocean front balcony. Very beautiful view of port. Good breakfast and convenient to ferry.

Ploes is my new favorite hotel! It’s absolutely stunning, the art details, the care the owners have taken in restoring it, it’s simple but elegant and almost like staying in a good friends home. Our bedroom was gorgeous, the amenities were just right, the access to swim is amazing and unlike anything I’ve experienced. The breakfast is the best I’ve had at a hotel! The staff are incredible and go above and beyond, there is nothing they won’t do to make your trip amazing.

- The Villa is amazing and much better in reality as compared to the pictures - The view from almost everywhere is directed to the open sea and is breathtaking - It was exceptionally clean - Haris is an excellent and helpful host and we liked his very kind and structured approach in guiding us through the villa and the island itself with the right tips - In general our stay was amazing and we can recommend Villa Lyna unconditionally to anyone who is seeking a relaxing and comfortable experience with amazing views in Syros
