Nice place and very close to all key attractions of ancient Olympia. The host, Vasili, is extremely friendly and helpful. We got a very homely feel at the place thanks to their hospitality. They also have a small tavern and provided decent veg meal on request.
Just 300 metres from the archaeological site of Olympia, Neda Hotel features free wireless internet access and a restaurant.

Stayed in a room with a shared pool situated in the garden. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were all inclusive and the food exceeded our expectations. We loved having our breakfast looking out over the sea. The sandy beach was gorgeous with very warm water and beautiful views of the sunset. Olympia is a 30 min drive away and we spent a fascinating morning visiting the site and museum.

The genuine politeness of the staff. The hotel staff was exceptional. I consider this to be the greatest assess of this facility.

The hotel is ideally located on the edge of the center in a quiet location. The hotel has a nice feel of days gone by which is a nice change from modern furnished hotels. The rooms are spacious and the beds are superb!
In the centre of Ancient Olympia, just 700 metres from the archaeological site and museum, Hotel Inomaos offers free private parking and free WiFi.

It was central to the town, good parking, access to nearby restaurants, and staff were friendly and helpful even though I knew no Greek. The room was fine for me, though a little run down, nothing too bad and I had a balcony.
Hotel Ilis is located at the entrance of the town of Ancient Olympia, approximately 200 metres from the centre. The museum and the ancient stadium are 3 km away.

The owner and the staff were all excellent. The service was impeccable, the location of the hotel ideal, within walking distance of the museum - exceptional value for money proposition. Will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to Olympia.
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Olympia this weekend is £55 or, for a 4-star hotel, £113. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Olympia for this weekend cost on average around £219 per night (based on Booking.com prices).

We have visited 3 times over 15 years and the accommodation and cafe, recommended by Hotel, were both excellent. We should have hired virtual reality glasses for the ancient Olympic in advance. We couldn't find them at the site.

Olympia is a large site, while very significant, it’s also a bit confusing to understand and is in some ways, underwhelming compared to other Greek sites. I wish we got the VR glasses that are rented to hep understand the site better as we walked through.

I didn’t realise just how important Olympia was, the first Olympic Games happened here, the ancient state of Greece was inaugurated here, some of the greatest sculpture ever made reside here. All set amongst the most beautiful landscape.

Obviously, the main reason to visit Olympia is fror the ancient ruins of the Stadium and surrounding artifacts. It is a full day to see everything. We didn't engage the audio guide, as it was a bit complicated with a pre-set-up and download. But I recommend going into the museum to see the model of the area as it was in use to more fully enjoy and identify the ruins. Walking under the arched tunnel into the stadium made the hair on my arms stand up - such an energy.

Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Considering its a small town it had all you could need.
The ancient archeological site is a must see for anyone interested in history and the museum is great also and a must see as well.
The town is cosy with everything walking distance and at night its something else with restaurants and bars and shops all lit up and vibrant plus wide tree lined streets that make it a pleasure to walk through.
I can definitely recommend it and maybe a stop over on the way to the Ionian islands.
Ohhh forgot to say that one of the nicest restaurants is Taverna Orestis where i had one of the nicest meals iv had in my 9 weeks in Greece i can highly recommend it.

One night stay is enough for visiting the Archeological Site and the Museums. The small the town has only two major streets, one with shady restaurants and the other with shops. You can fint not only the Olimpia museums but a small museum about Archimedes which is really worth to visit.
It is quite a long time to get to Olimpia from the direction of Corinth, but you can choose the slower route across the hills which hides lovely villages.
The pool at Hotel Europa was a dream. We stayed for one night and immediately wanted another and the staff was very accommodating. As two women traveling together, we appreciated that the staff seemed comfortable with same-sex couples. The dinner restaurant was very good, though we decided to make our 2nd dinner a poolside affair, eating from the a la carte menu that closed at 6:00. The breakfast buffet was, in a word, robust. The grounds are beautiful and the fruit trees were an added pleasure.
Conveniently located in Olympia (although to be fair, Olympia is small and everything is convenient) at a budget price. Hotel Pelops is nothing fancy, but you get the feeling that it has hosted many visitors to the archaeological site over the years, and remains unchanged :) We really appreciated the little map the proprietor drew for us at check-in. Don't miss the Olympic torches in the breakfast room!
This is a family own business and the couple/owners are very nice and helpful. The location is great since Olympia is a small town. Literally the bus stop is less than a minute from the hotel door, and the archaeological site only 7 minutes. The facility is old but I think it's enough since everything works properly. I've been in many not-expensive hotels and this is a great deal.
Exceptionally warm greeting from Kostas. Very central location, hot showers, good coffee at the bakery nearby. Great idea to stay overnight and get an early start at museum and parks, especially in winter when closure is 3.30pm. So much to see and experience at the key sites. The gods favoured us with good weather and autumnal tones. Glad we visited!
This hotel has a good location for visiting the ancient ruins and museum of Olympia. It is run by a friendly owner and his sweet elderly father who prepared traditional Greek fried dough with honey for our breakfast. It was clear they enjoy interacting with their guests. We enjoyed talking with "Barba Fotis."
Such a lovely place near the Olympia Archeological site. The hotel is comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the setting is stunning that beckons you to linger. They have a pool that is welcoming after exploring the the ancient site. The dinner was wonderful and the breakfast met our needs.
Bfast was good and we enjoy it very much. Banana run out quickly on first come first serve. Ha2. Friends who came down later, did not get them.
Its location was really a +, can leave the car and just walk to Museum and Olympic site.
Near to food and stores another +.
Wonderful hotel! The staff was so kind and the location was perfect for Olympia. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful in guiding us on where to go -- the map was especially helpful! We'll definitely be staying here again!
We found this hotel to be a great location for our visit to Olympia. The pool was wonderful after our long, hot day. The bathroom was updated with a very modern 4 way shower! We had our dinner at the restaurant. Selections were great and delicious entrees.
The location is excellent for visiting Olympia. Staff was especially helpful, directing us to restaurants which were great and clearly visited by locals not just tourists. Parking was convenient. Excellent value.
Very close to the Olympia archaeological sites, we walked from the hotel. Also right in town, close to main street, restaurants, shops, etc. Parking on street was easy to find. Nice size balcony.
We stayed one night only and it was a perfect location, near ancient site Olympia. The room was clean and big enough. Kitchen was a liitle bit dated but still functional.
Accurate description, very well located and very clean. Nice and respectful host, very responsive. For a very small amount of money, we had a good breakfast at the hotel.
Very nice location in the village center. Easy free parking nearby.
Cute balcony facing the city center.
Common kitchen with free bottle of water in the fridge.
